Hello Union and Community Members,
While many efforts are being made to educate the public and put pressure on City Council to fully fund PP&R, the findings from Economist Peter Donahue are particularly impressive. I've include the budget presentation here if you were unable to attend the meetings. You are encouraged to share this information with your own networks.
Local 483 has obtained a list of all community center customers. We will be using this list to host several phone banking sessions at the Union Office (1125 SE Madison, Suite 206) on
Thursday May 2nd, 3:30 - 7:30PM
Saturday May 4th, 3:30 - 7:30PM
Tuesday May 7th, 3:30 - 7:30PM
Food will be provided! We are getting very close to voting time, and everyone's efforts count! Please attend these phone banks if you can, this is an opportunity to activate people that we know regularly use and enjoy the services community centers provide!
